Everybody’s boasting about their side hustle these days, and talking about pulling in some additional income via various side hustles like driving an Uber, walking dogs, providing photography services, or even setting up an ecommerce store to sell stuff.
So in essence, a side hustle is a means of providing incremental income outside of your day job. But, not all side hustles are made equal. Some may just require your time to accomplish, such as being an Uber driver, or a dog walker.
Other side hustles on the other hand, can be seen as a business and potentially built up to be an empire, or at the very least a good source of passive income, where you set it up once and it can still bring you revenue down the line.
Now that’s the type of side hustle I’m interested in, and will explore in detail over the course of documenting this blog.
These include:
- creating and maintaining blog sites, monetising them with display and affiliate advertising
- Setting up e-commerce stores to sell products
- Trading stocks and CFDs
- Real estate investments
- Cryptocurrencies and other speculative plays
Do you have a side hustle? If so, what is it and how did you start?
Mine’s the first one – affiliate marketing through my own website. Loving it, cos I really love to write. It’s exciting to see there’re so many other options of a side hustle. Can’t wait to learn more about them!
