Income Report – Dec 2019 and 2019 wrap-up

SideHustleRich-Dec 2019 Income Report

First of all, Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all had your fill of parties, drinks and merriment!

December turned out to be the second most profitable month for the year, clocking in at $3,894 for my CFD trades. This made Q4 by far the biggest quarter for the year, which is the best way to close out 2019.

Following this nice number in December, total profit for the year stands at $25,942.70 for the entirety of 2019. Hopefully the trend and trajectory is intact going forward in 2020, and I can grow my CFD side hustle nicely.

Getting into the breakdown for December, as seen below. 10 trades closed. Again, you’ll see multiples of the same stock being traded as they are pretty volatile, and my profits are typically in the 1 – 5% range of stock movement. On particularly volatile trading days, I didn’t even need to hold it overnight.

SideHustleRich in 2020

Going into 2020 (we actually already are in 2020!), I would like to add Options Trading to complement CFD trading, and see if together, I can accelerate my earnings.

For the CFD side of things in 2019, I had a stretch goal of $24,000 ($2k per month on average), which I managed to hit with the help of an amazing Q4. I’m actually not sure if I can maintain this level of profit on a monthly basis, but for now, I’ll set my 2020 CFD profit goal at $30,000. Let’s see how this goes.

I will also put in $1,200 capital into options trading, and use this to test into some options strategies in Q1, and will report my progress separately.

2020 Job Hunt

I also took a nice break in Dec, just unwinding and taking some me time. Starting to jump back into the job hunt scene and hopefully be able to find something I like really soon.

New Year, New Beginnings eh?

Hopefully everyone’s gonna have an even better decade than the last!
